a picture of janis joplin m(one of casey's favs) taken from the tv during the awesome movie festival expressnow i really know what a hot flash is all about ...i just thought i did a few weeks back...glad my team of friends did not get to see me glow....i feel like a camera setting sometimes...i see the world in different settings...wide lens...portrait ...black and white....slow motion...it is almost comicial the feeling i go through in a single day....but alas this too shall pass and i will be up to my old self and chemo free in about three weeks...last treatment of the two left is feb 15 and you gotta figure a week of feeling crappy and the start to get back to normal..and for those of you who know me ...normal is a stretch.......i will embrace this life with even more gusto when all this is over...i mean i have so many people to make laugh...or cry depending on the circumstance....... and you know it's all about the circumstance s........peace

TC, sorry i have been absent from the board for a while... have been reading along from Las Vegas- what a long week out there it was for SIA. So, so glad to hear all the great stories of the sales meeting, the treatments, your VW, all of your fans around the country in various places... I know you're so stoked to be heading into the last 2 sit-downs of this long strange trip, but oh, is it going to be worth it! Walked around looking at all the killer instruments and memorabilia in the Hard Rock, and almost every one led me back to a personal memory, or feeling from the music along the road of life. you have been a big part of that to me these last few years, man, i want you to know that. leftover, sam bush, grismon, ratdog,... wow, we've built up a nice little list so far. I miss ya a lot these last few shows, and have to admit i wasn't too into going to O.R., since you wouldn't be there anyway. Kent and I rage on our own pretty well, but the day we all are together again making music for ourselves and our friends will be righteous, fer sher, and i can't wait to grow that band list more and more!
hope the kaminskis are safe tonight- i've been in 10-15ft a few times supposedly 'racing' out near where i think they are fishin', and it definitely sucks (unless they're hitting, of course)...keep yer tips up and yer 'riggers down!
