phase 2 is in full swing and i will be sent home with a tube in my belly that feeds into the bladder and one out the only exit they could think of...( should i draw you a map)?.....my unrine will flow out two side of the NEO- bladder NOT A BLADDER ANYMORE IT WILL BE REFERRED TO BY ITS NEW NAME NEO FROM NOW ON for 4 weeks......with me claning and flushing it out.......part of the recovery ...part of phase 3 i guess.....HEALING AND TURNING THE PAGE............
REMEMBER TO TOUCH A TREE TODAY IT HAS TO FEEL SO WONDERFUIL....THE CONCRETE PATIO AGAINST MY HAND TODAY WAS THE MOST WONDERFUL FEELING I HAVE SENSED ALL DAY....EACH TOUCH OF EACH OBJECT WILL TAKE ON A NEW MEANING ON THIS ROAD TO THE CURE.......TOM....STIR CRAZY...CHEFFO

I was on the patio at Sloan. eaves-dropping cuz I heard this guy say he had bladder cancer and was keeping a blog. He had this neat tie-dye blacelet - "What's with the bracelet?" I ask as he walks by. "I have bladder cancer too and I never saw 'the bracelet'."
The guy says a friend made them for him. "Wait here." He says. "I'm gonna get you one."
I wait a pretty long time thinking maybe the medical staff detained him. (Like tied him up with more of those tubes or something.) Just as I am about to leave Tom Cheffo shows up with his hospital gown and bladder bag and hospital pole and hands me a tie-dye braclet that says love. He had trouble finding it he says. This bracelet seems pretty special, so I wear it all the time. I wear it for Tom, and for me and for all the folks who have bladder cancer.
