what a great day yesterday was....spirts and laughter was high
never made it to my friend ronnies party i kinda fizzled out....getting ready for stress test on wed.... doctors want to see if the old ticker can take all this surgery. i tell you what being a Jet and Met fan these days should be proof enough that the old heart is fine..

just got neil youngs prairie wind..can't wait to listen to it in some waiting room

I have decided to take today off from writing about my journey and wanted to let everyone know how much i love hearing and reading your comments and feelings about my blog it truly is amazing. i also would love it if we all just took the time to slow down today enjoy the things that make us happy.....we are having a suprise party for my cousin joanie today she is an amazing women, born with a handicap it has never and i mean never slowed her down. she is an inspiration to all who come in contact with her. my family on my moms side is meeting today. you will never find a more caring group of people in one place at one time. if my energy allows it my dear friend ronnie who lives in new mexico is in town to celebrate her 50th and her family consist of some some wild irishman (and women) that should be an event. so what i am tring to say is no matter where or who your with today take the time to smile, for you see it is a beautiful world with all of you in it.

HI ALL,

you know when they say put this gown on opening in the back you are in for a treat. well i have to say after 35 + hours of nothing but liquids i was looking to get this over with..iv in arm they forgot to get me to sign consent form....i would have signed anything at that point i think i signed over my house...anyhow said i should be asleep in no time...i flashed a peace sign and was out....man that was some good drugs....woke up got out of bed...dragged a comb across my head (beatles) well it all turned out a-ok the big C did not make its way down there...nice relief..was a liitle loopy on the ride home.....reccomend this to all over 50 or just looking for a little thrill

hi all,
had to get needle nuked today and the plan was to come back three hours later to get scanned....well when i got back to the lab i was informed (after waiting 1/2 hr) that the camera is busted and they were waiting for the tech guy (or gal) to call back
THANK GOD FOR IPOD....or should i say thank the krypels for getting me one all those years ago. well 2 hours goes by and still no call from the tech...second copy of red book i read this week...learned some new recipes thats for sure ..cooking with pure virgin olive oil was healthy for you ...imagine that if the machine had not broken i would have never known....after the third hour he did call and quess what he said it was broken...duh...i could have told them that...rescheduled for next thurs...i get to do it all over again......oh yeah i am fasting through all this just gaderade and gingerale.....all i was seeing was food ads....man am i freaking hungry..thinkin about selling ads on my blog anybody what to plug anything let me know....heheheh

Hello All,

Todays ct scan was uneventful other than I was able to get my films today so I could bring them over to Sloan Kettering. It is now official I have retained the services of Dr Paul Russo his passion and caring no nonsence nature was just what I was looking for. Next test Complete Bone scan this friday with a next day colonoscopy on Saturday
really looking foward to that one........stress/heart next week with a late week pre-op.....yahoooo..it just keeps getting better
the doctor made a funny comment that bladder cancer is like the orphaned cance...it is not a glamorous cancer to have ,,,,welll dammit i am about to change that....

hi all...dr appointment added a new wrinkle in my search for the cure. it has been decided to go back in to see the extent of the damage and how far into the muscle wall has been effected.....new surgery date is Nov 9.......test to complete before them ...colonosipy ,stress test,cat scan.bone scan, and pre-op.....will keep you posted

Medicial situation

will be meeting with dr russo at sloan tuesday oct 25 to discuss plan on how to procede with surgery and to finalize all plans for the next few weeks ..........oct 26 will be getting my cat scan out of the way and one step closer to surgery
